TripLineup Terms of Service

Effective date: August 13, 2026

Operator and contact: TripLineup · [email protected]

These Terms are an agreement between you and TripLineup, the sole-proprietor brand that operates the TripLineup website, Chrome extension, and related services (“TripLineup,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using TripLineup or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. What TripLineup provides

TripLineup helps you discover public event listings for a destination and date range, organize saved trips and events, collaborate on plans, view weather context, and receive personalized trip suggestions. The Chrome extension can read the trip displayed on Google Flights and show related event information. TripLineup does not sell airline tickets, event tickets, lodging, transportation, or travel packages and is not a travel agency.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to purchase TripLineup Plus. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting your sign-in session, and activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Free and Plus plans

Public event search is available without an account. Free-account and Plus limits and features are shown in the Pricing section of the TripLineup homepage. TripLineup may change free features or limits prospectively. Material changes to a paid subscription apply as described at purchase or renewal and as required by law.

TripLineup Plus is available for $29 USD/year, before applicable taxes presented at checkout. When Top Trips is available to the account, Plus shows up to five ranked positions per edition. Plus also includes advanced travel preferences, up to 100 active saved trips, up to 100 explicitly archived trips, retention of the 50 most recent eligible owned Past trips, and the expanded event limits listed in the homepage Pricing section. Free includes up to five active saved trips, five explicitly archived trips, and retention of the five most recent eligible owned Past trips. The website, extension, and database use two linked boundaries: a trip appears under Past after its recorded end day has finished everywhere, measured from the next midnight at UTC−12, and its retention cutoff follows 48 complete hours later. No path can delete a grace-pending trip. Once the retention cutoff has passed, an authorized save, restore, date change, or lower-limit adoption can apply the limit immediately; natural aging is reconciled on a bounded schedule, and ordinary trip-list or trip-detail reads never delete history. Before a save, restore, or date change would delete history, TripLineup warns the user and offers Archive or, for Free accounts, Upgrade. When an eligible owned Past trip exceeds the applicable rolling limit, the oldest eligible owned Past trip and its saved events, notes, comments, votes, members, sharing links, and linked price history are permanently deleted. A downgrade from Plus to Free can therefore delete eligible Past trips beyond the Free limit when the provider-confirmed lower entitlement takes effect. There is no recoverable trash, and upgrading later cannot restore deleted trips. Trips shared with you do not consume your owned Past-trip allowance.

4. Trial, renewal, and cancellation

Eligible new customers may start a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, Plus begins a paid annual term at $29 USD/year plus applicable tax and renews annually until canceled. Checkout states the trial dates, first charge, renewal terms, and cancellation deadline before you authorize it.

After a paid annual term begins, Plus renews annually at the price disclosed for the renewal unless canceled. You may cancel at any time through Account settings → TripLineup Plus → Manage billing or through the cancellation link in Paddle's subscription email. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain Plus access until then.

5. Payments, taxes, and refunds

Paddle is the merchant of record and authorized reseller for TripLineup Plus. Paddle processes payment details, calculates and collects applicable transaction taxes, issues receipts, and provides the buyer portal. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Refund eligibility and requests are explained in the TripLineup Refund and Cancellation Policy. Except where required by law or approved under that policy, subscription payments are non-refundable and cancellation does not refund an unused portion of a billing period.

6. Event, flight, price, and weather information

TripLineup combines information from public and third-party sources. Listings, dates, times, venues, availability, prices, links, weather, travel estimates, and personalized suggestions may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong and can change without notice. Always confirm important details directly with the airline, venue, ticket seller, weather service, or other relevant provider before booking or traveling. A saved price is a snapshot, not a live quote, reservation, or guarantee.

7. Your content and shared trips

You retain ownership of notes, comments, labels, and other content you add. You give TripLineup a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate features you choose. Anyone with an active sharing link can see the sanitized preview described on the share page. A person must sign in with a confirmed TripLineup account and choose to join before receiving the viewer or editor access selected for that link. Trip owners can revoke links, control membership, and remove collaborators; collaborators should contribute only content they have the right to share.

8. Acceptable use

You may not misuse TripLineup, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or rate limits, scrape or bulk-extract the service, use automated access outside documented interfaces, upload unlawful or infringing content, impersonate another person, or use TripLineup to harm others. You may not reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

9. Third-party services

TripLineup links to or interoperates with services such as Google Flights, Ticketmaster, Paddle, Supabase, Cloudflare, Apple, and weather or mapping providers. Those services are operated under their own terms and privacy policies. TripLineup is not responsible for third-party products, purchases, availability, or content.

10. TripLineup rights

TripLineup and its original software, design, branding, and content are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep TripLineup reliable, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis and may experience interruptions, provider changes, maintenance, or feature changes. We may modify or discontinue features, while honoring paid access and mandatory notice or refund rights where applicable.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TripLineup disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. TripLineup is not liable for travel decisions, missed events or transportation, third-party purchases, provider errors, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, TripLineup's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid TripLineup through Paddle during the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not restrict rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using TripLineup or delete your account from Account settings, subject to the active-subscription safeguards shown there. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security threats, fraud, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, intellectual-property terms, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when required. Changes apply prospectively. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the service and cancel any subscription before its next renewal.

15. Applicable law and consumer rights

Applicable law governs these Terms. Nothing in these Terms waives mandatory consumer protections, statutory withdrawal rights, or other rights that cannot legally be limited. Before starting a formal dispute, contact us so we can try to resolve it.
